Wholesome food, effortless mornings
How pausing, cancelling and refunds actually work on TiffinTots. Last updated 8 October 2026.
This policy explains what happens to your meal-credit balance and your money when you pause a day, skip a day, cancel your subscription, or a delivery doesn't go as planned. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, which govern the Service generally.
You can pause a specific day, mark a vacation, or turn off a recurring weekday any time before that day's cutoff (6:00 PM IST the evening before, shown in-app on your Planner). A paused or skipped day is never charged β no meal credit is deducted, so there's nothing to refund for it either. Your credits stay in your wallet, unused, exactly as before.
Once a day passes its 6:00 PM cutoff, it locks in for production and a meal credit is deducted β this can no longer be paused, skipped or refunded for that reason alone.
To cancel your subscription, write to us at support@tiffintots.com or use the Contact page with your registered mobile number. We review and process cancellation requests individually rather than through an automatic self-service button, so that any unused balance is calculated correctly before anything is refunded.
On cancellation: any already-locked/delivered meals are not refunded (they're already paid-for and delivered), your auto-renew is turned off, and your remaining unused meal-credit balance is refunded at your plan's per-meal rate to your original payment method, subject to the "How refunds are paid" section below.
Every refund is issued through Razorpay, our payment partner, back to the original payment method used (card, UPI or netbanking) β we never pay a refund by any other means, and we never ask for your card/UPI details to process one. Once issued, Razorpay's own processing typically takes 5β7 business days to reflect in your account, though this can vary slightly by your bank or payment method.
If your subscription was paid for across more than one payment (e.g. an auto-renewal recharge), a refund is drawn against your most recent payment(s) first; if one payment alone isn't enough to cover the refund, we draw against earlier payments as needed.
A failed delivery is not automatically refunded the moment it's marked failed β our rider and kitchen team may still have done real work (e.g. travelling to your address) even if nothing was ultimately delivered. Every failed delivery is individually reviewed by our team, and the outcome depends on the reason:
If you believe a delivery failed in error, write to support@tiffintots.com with your registered mobile number and the date β we review these promptly, and food-safety-related complaints are prioritised.
The one-time 5-Day Trial Pack follows the same pause/cancellation/refund rules as a regular subscription above. If a trial payment is accidentally made twice (for example, by submitting payment from two browser tabs), the duplicate payment is never credited to your wallet and is automatically flagged for a refund.
Meal credits carry an expiry from the date of purchase (shown in your Wallet when you buy a plan). Credits that expire unused are forfeited and are not refunded or converted to cash. If you delete your TiffinTots account, any remaining unused balance is forfeited at the point of deletion β please request a refund or use up your balance before deleting your account if you'd like it addressed first.
Separately from the above, our support team can credit meals back to your wallet as a goodwill gesture for a genuine service issue, without needing to process a real money refund β this doesn't affect your original payment in any way, it simply adds meal credits to your account.
